When life feels chaotic or overwhelming, grounding and shielding can help you stay calm and protected. These simple practices connect you to the Earth’s energy and create an energetic boundary around you in the busiest and noisiest of times personally or professionally.


Top Tips for Grounding and Shielding Your Energy:

  • Try grounding techniques: Walk barefoot on natural surfaces, visualize roots growing from your feet, or hold grounding crystals like black tourmaline.

  • Create a shield of light: Imagine a protective bubble of light around you that keeps negativity out.

  • Refresh daily: Take a few minutes each morning to strengthen your shield with intention.

  • Connect with nature: Spending time outdoors can help you feel anchored and clear.



Grounding and shielding are powerful tools to help you feel centered, no matter what life throws your way. Our lives are always so busy but by choice because we tend to just go with all the external rather than setting a boundary and responding with a hearty "no" when asked by others to make our energy available.


Personally I love to use the Mirrorball Method when setting an energetic boundary. I visualise stepping into my Mirrorball and closing the door - this helps to cut cords with others and keep my energy to myself for a while which assists me to rebalance my own energy and amplify it when needed.


Practice this daily, and notice the difference in your energy and focus. It is one of the best and easiest practices that I recommend for both newcomers to Woo and those who have been in the trenches for a while.
